If you would like to join the team at Sport Without Borders, you can do this in a number of ways : as a 'volontaire de solidarité internationale' (a voluntary position with specific legal status in France), on an internship or as a volunteer.

 

Positions are available abroad and in France throughout the year, according to need.

Country director

The country director is responsible for managing and driving forward the entire project. They must ensure the smooth running of all programmes; managing and developing relationships with local administrators and donors; and motivating and managing both local and expat project teams.

The country director is also responsible for the financial and administrative management of the programme. This includes fundraising, developing and managing budgets, report writing and administration.

 

Programme Manager / Local Training Manager

The programme manager is responsible for setting up, coordinating and managing specific programmes; training and supporting local education teams; as well as the trainees (sports/ social coordinators, teachers and trainee teachers, youth leaders, etc). They are responsible for developing and implementing tools to monitor and evaluate projects.
Those who join SWB as a 'Volontaire de Solidarité Internationale' for a minimum of 12 months will gain the benefits associated with VSI status.  More information on VSI status

 

In France

 

Internships

 

Sport Without Borders can offer internships to students for a minimum of 6 months at their head office in Paris. These positions may be on country desks, in communications or accounts depending on the current requirements of SWB.

Volunteering at Head Office

Sport Without Borders is looking for volunteers to help support the following departments : accounts, administration, partnerships and communications.

 

Volunteering locally

Volunteers can help raise awareness of Sport Without Borders in their local area and fundraise in partnership with local and regional sporting bodies (clubs, sporting events, etc).
