Nine years after the war, the situation remains fragile in Kosovo. Inter-ethnic hostilities were re-ignited with the recent declaration of independence by this former Serbian province. The unemployment rate is worrisome, and of particular concern for young people.

Learn moreMany teachers recognize an overall uneasiness among youth. Yet, few have the knowledge or skills to respond to these new needs, or to offer an appropriate reaction.
Our goal is to enable school teachers and volunteers to better deal with the psychological issues of students in this war-affected region, by creating and implementing PASA’s (circus arts activities) for therapeutic purposes.

Lilian Thuram visits our mission in Kosovo
Strasbourg, 15.10.2009 – The Council of Europe is organising two events in Kosovo, with the participation of Lilian Thuram, President of the "Education against Racism" Foundation, and Sport Without Borders, on 20 and 21 October 2009. These events both reflect the hope of overcoming prejudice and discrimination between the ethnic communities.
